About the Role

NRB Hospital is looking for an experienced Site Manager – Field Level to support the financial and material management of our ongoing hospital construction project in Osmanynagar, Sylhet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing site financial transactions and material accounts while ensuring effective budget control, fund management, proper record keeping and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Maintain site cash, bank accounts and petty cash records.

  • Verify contractor and supplier bills and process payments accordingly.

  • Prepare salary and wage sheets for site staff and workers.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Tax, VAT and Withholding Tax (TDS) requirements.

Material Accounting

  • Maintain GRN (Goods Received Note), Material Issue Vouchers and Stock Registers for construction materials.

  • Conduct monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.

  • Monitor material consumption against the BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

  • Prepare material usage and wastage reports.

Reporting

  • Prepare daily cash reports.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly expenditure reports.

  • Analyse budgeted expenditure against actual expenditure.

  • Provide financial and accounting information required for audit and management purposes.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or BBA. Educational requirements may be relaxed for candidates with substantial and relevant professional experience.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts or Finance, including at least 2 years of experience working at a construction site.

Special Preference
Preference may be given to retired Armed Forces NCOs, including Sergeant/Corporal level candidates, who meet the relevant requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience using Tally/ERP systems.

  • Good understanding of construction-site accounting.

  • Knowledge of BOQ and project costing.

  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage financial and material records accurately.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.
